CAN to Live Stream “Islam in the Schools” Event

October 05,2017

On October 11, 2017 Christian Action Network will hold a conference at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Sterling, VA beginning at 7:00 p.m. that will expose Islamic indoctrination programs occurring inside public schools.

The event will be Live Streamed on its website ChristianAction.org.

“America needs a national awakening to be aware of the growing number of public schools that are attempting to convert children into Islam and turn them into evangelists for the Islamic faith,” said Martin Mawyer, president of Christian Action Network (CAN).

The event is scheduled for 7:00 pm on October 11, 2017 at the Hampton Inn & Suites, Sterling, VA. The briefing is by “invitation only” and will include guest speakers and the presentation of CAN’s documentary film, “Islam in the Schools: A Quick Look.”

Mawyer will also present actual classroom material, gathered from across the nation, that are designed for the primary purpose of engaging students in the Islamic faith, practices, beliefs and worship.

“Much of this material is not only shocking and offensive to the Christian faith, but a blatant violation of established constitutional boundaries for religious education in the public schools,” Mawyer said.

Documents to be presented will include religious exercises that have students proclaiming:

“All people must submit to Allah.”

“There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is his prophet.”

“Most Muslims have a stronger faith than the average Christian.”

Mawyer will also present student activity programs that have students:

  • Making poster boards of the Five Pillars of Islamic Faith
  • Taking field trips to mosques
  • Writing “There is no god but Allah” in calligraphy

Mawyer will also discuss an Islamic indoctrination program funded by the U.S. Department of Education (DOE), called “Access Islam.”

“This taxpayer program, which is available to every school in the nation, is nothing more than a Sunday school class on Islam,” said Mawyer.

Designed for grades 5-12, lessons include having children answer such questions as:

“What do Muslim prayers sound like?”

“Describe the process that Muslims go through to prepare to pray.”

“What does it mean for Muslims to enter spiritual purity?”

The DOE program requires children to “focus on learning about the core duties of Muslims” and to “understand the basic beliefs of Islam as the Five Pillars that guide Muslims in their daily life.”

Children are also required to watch a video on how to pray as a Muslim, perform pilgrimage, fasting, alms giving and worship.

“Few parents are aware that these Islamic indoctrination programs even exist in the public schools,” said Mawyer.

The briefing will be live-streamed across the nation, said Mawyer.

“My hope is that this briefing will not only educate parents and community leaders about Islamic indoctrination programs in the public schools, but will galvanize them to organize and oppose this religious assault on the Christian faith of their children.”

Current scheduled speakers for the event include:

Martin Mawyer, President of Christian Action Network

Prof. Ryan Mauro, National Security Analyst for Clarion Project
